Company says that the ‘Better Than Dedicated’ platform packages together open source web programming tools with increased disk space and bandwidth available only with dedicated servers. Newly released programming tools include Ruby On Rails, PHP 5, MySQL 4.1, Python and Secure Shell.

Additionally, disk space and bandwidth allowances have been upgraded to 40 GB, 1.5 TB per month respectively. The platform is included with the Netfirms Advantage and Netfirms Business web hosting plans, priced from $9.95 - $14.95 per month.
